HTC Desire C launched in Europe

HTC Desire C is the latest addition to the brand’s growing range of Desire smartphones.

HTC has announced the HTC Desire C, an Andriod-based smartphone, aimed at budget conscious buyers. Running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with HTC Sense 4.0 on top of it, the phone will feature Beats Audio.

Looking eerily similar to HTC One, this phone is equipped with 3.5 inch LCS with HVGA resolution, Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 Chipset clocking at 600 GHz, 5 MP rear camera, 4GB internal memory with a MicroSD slot and 512MB RAM. On the connectivity front, it works on 3G HSDPA and can access Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and USB 2.0.

HTC Desire C has been launched officially in Europe where it is priced at €220, in three colours – Polar White, Stealth Black and Flamenco Red. The company has not revealed when it will be introduced in India, but it is likely to be available sometime in June 2012. It is likely to be priced around Rs 14,000 for the Indian market.
